During our time together each week we will practice Lectio Divina, a form of praying God's word through scripture. Each week we will use the Gospel of the upcoming Sunday. This prayer is read with "the ear of the heart."

Prayer is different than reading the bible for study or analysis. We read the living word of God so that He can speak directly to our hearts. It involves four steps: reading, reflecting, responding and resting.

We engage God in a conversation and listen for His word to us.
